United Way Youth Division

What is the United Way Youth Division?
Through agency presentations and “hands-on” service
projects, teens receive an in depth view of United Way
agencies. The United Way Youth Division is a program
coordinated by the Volunteer Center of Lubbock and is open
to all area high school students who are interested in
meeting other teens and learning more about Lubbock Area
United Way agencies, volunteering, and community service.

How can I participate?
Any Lubbock
area high school student can participate. Participants must
be willing to dedicate their time to the
program and must attend at least 75% of the meetings and
service project activities.
Meetings are held one Tuesday evening each month at 7:00 p.m. at the United Way Building located at 1655 Main Street on the corner of Main and Avenue Q.
