VOLUNTEER CONNECTION
- Volunteer Connection services were provided to 8,906 people.
- 1,934 individuals registered as volunteers on the Volunteer Center's website.
- 77 organizations posted or maintained 521 volunteer opportunities online.
- And made a total of 4,445 volunteer referrals.
YOUTH CONNECTION
- Students from 36 area secondary schools participated in the Youth in Service program. 17,246 students documented
142,454 hours of volunteer service and raised $135,432 in funding for organizations and service projects.
- 127 youth participated in the Volunteer Center's leadership programs with a total of 1,505 hours and 125 community service projects.
LEADERSHIP CONNECTION
- 1,681 people participated in the Volunteer Center of Lubbock's Leadership Connection program.
- Implemented the Helen DeVitt Jones Nonprofit Excellence Series:
--At the Heart: 20 Executive Directors and Board Presidents from 10 organizations strengthened
their partnerships for the overall benefit to their agency.
--Emerging Leaders: 18 young professionals became clearer about their strengths and ways to
engage in the community.
