The Volunteer Center is excited to be able to enhance relationships with potential volunteers and agencies in search of volunteers.  Volunteers are referred to 150+ agencies through our volunteer listings as well as telephone referrals.  We view our client base as both individuals and groups looking for ways to meet community needs and agencies that are addressing those community needs.  We invite you to become a part of this process as a Volunteer Center of Lubbock Agency Partner.  Organizations pay an annual membership fee of $100.

By becoming an Agency  Partner with the Volunteer Center of Lubbock, your organization will benefit in the following ways:

§      Workshops & Consultations: You will receive a 20% discount on all Volunteer Center workshops and a 10% discount on consultations. These workshops/consultations are tailored to address specific issues related to non-profit staff, boards, and volunteers.  We are excited about the workshop offerings for the upcoming year.

§      Referral Guides: Your organization’s volunteer opportunities will be printed several times a year in the Volunteer Center’s referral guides such as the Guide to Volunteering in Lubbock, Youth Volunteer Guide and Holiday Guide.  These are widely distributed throughout the community.

§      Volunteer Matching: Visitors to the Volunteer Center website will be able to access information about your organization’s volunteer opportunities.  Agency Partners are able to create their listings and update them as needed. This volunteer matching software allows you to post opportunities and recruit volunteers as well as track their hours.

§      Your organizations Web site link on the Volunteer Center Web site.

§      Brown Bag Lunch: Attend quarterly Brown Bag Lunch and Learns with other partners.

§     Library: Receive check-out privileges for the Volunteer Center Library resources.

§      E-mail newsletter highlighting upcoming events and reminders

§      Free job listings on Volunteer Center Web site.

Membership fees are affordable for almost any nonprofit.

The South Plains area is full of individuals and groups wanting to help as well as agencies addressing needs with volunteers.  Our challenge is to effectively connect you all.  The Volunteer Center of Lubbock is committed to serving and supporting your agency.  If you have questions, give us a call at (806)747-0551.
