The Volunteer Center of Lubbock supports the efforts of DOVIA-an organization providing support, professional training and networking opportunities for people working with volunteers. The Lubbock chapter of DOVIA is committed to positive volunteer relations.

 DOVIA brings together volunteer directors, managers, coordinators and staff to promote professionalism in the field of volunteer management. Together we face the issues concerning volunteerism and provide support and training for continued success.

 The Lubbock Chapter of DOVIA meets the 2^nd Wednesday of every month to discuss, learn and explore the many essentials of volunteer management and development. Annual Membership dues are only $20 for one agency representative and $10 for each additional member. For more information regarding membership please call Melissa Madrid at
