appreciation of dance as a performing art

CASA of the South
Plains
CASA’s mission is to provide
trained, court-appointed volunteers who
investigate, monitor, & serve as
advocates in court for abused/neglected
children’s best interests. Youth
can participate in the Junior Friends of CASA
program by helping abused
children through fundraising events and a Youth
Advisory Program. Youth are
welcome to aid in basic office work.

To bring together community
resources to speed the healing of child victims of

to assist with new teddy bear drives and

CAC Bike Ride and a gingerbread house

The mission of Greater Texas
Community Partners is to meet the critical needs of

Provides homeless families

Hospice of
Lubbock
We provide end-of-life care to
meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people with
terminal illnesses. Volunteers

Humane Society of
West Texas
Active in the rescue and fostering of homeless,
abused, neglected, and "down on their luck" dogs
and cats. Volunteer opportunities include helping
set up for adoptions and taking care of animals
for adoption every Saturday at Petsmart, and help
loading & taking things down for storage.

Literacy Lubbock
Teaches adults, free of charge,
basic reading and writing skills, and GED preparation,

Consists of the Buddy Holly Center and Silent
