Sharon is the Executive Director of the Volunteer Center.  She has worked at the Volunteer Center since November of 1995.  Sharon has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Austin and  Master of Science degree in Human Development from Texas Tech University.  The Volunteer Center's Leadership Connection was developed and implemented by Sharon, as well as our youth volunteerism programming, Criminal Background Check recruitment program and Mentoring Works! Americorps.  Sharon has been the Executive Director of the Volunteer Center since February of 2003 and has had an extensive impact within the community as a volunteer.
