Roxana Rashid

Student Assistant

Roxana grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and moved to Dallas, TX a few years prior to finally attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Roxana is currently a senior at Tech studying Public Relations with a minor in Legal Studies and will be graduating in December with the intent to attend Texas Tech School of Law.
Roxana’s admiration for the Volunteer Center of Lubbock shines through her work centered around adult engagement. As a freshman at Tech, Roxana learned about the Volunteer Center and wanted to become more involved in her passion of inspiring others in the community. Some of her favorite aspects of the center include connecting groups, families, and individuals with life-long relationships with our agencies and engaging students and campus groups with different opportunities. Roxana also takes great joy in helping plan National Days of Service, Tech to Town, Brown Bag Luncheons, and other great programs that aid the community in finding their best fit.
When Roxana isn’t writing in her journal, reading, or starting a new show on Netflix, you can find her traveling to places high and low, or playing with her puppies, Molly and Adonis.
